Charity Track & Toy Drive
The Charity Track & Toy Drive is on Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donate a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy and take a lap around the track in your own vehicle. The event helps the Brooklyn Food Bank, Toys for Tots and MIS Cares. Photos with Santa for $10 available. Refreshments provided by Americrown and MIS Cares will be available. Weather permitting, no motorcycles.
Michigan Wine and Beer Fest
It's the toast of Michigan! On Saturday, May 9, 2015, MIS will play host to wineries and breweries from all over the state. Sip, swirl and savor the great wine and beers the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest has to offer!
Faster Horses Festival
The Faster Horses Festival returns to the Irish Hills in 2015 at Michigan International Speedway on July 17-19. In 2014, the three-day country concert featured superstars Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert along with top acts Little Big Town, Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, Joe Diffie, Jana Kramer, Ashley Monroe, Parmalee, Cassadee Pope, Dan + Shay, Dee Jay Silver, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Austin Webb and many more. The festival is set to be a prime summer event featuring two stages, nine campgrounds, late night jam sessions, food trucks, water slides and more!
Obstacle course style races are popular among adults. Now, children get their opportunity to compete in the Art Moehn Chevrolet Childrenz Challenge presented by AOS, RW Mercer and Kelly Experss Marts on Saturday, August 23. The course, built for accomplishment, not punishment will feature 13 obstacles and finish with a 100-foot slip-n-slide. Children ages 4-8 years old will compete on a 1.5-mile course while children 9-13 will traverse a two-mile course.
Spirit of America
Michigan International Speedway is pleased to announce it will continue its tradition of the Spirit of America blood drive on Thursday, September 11. The annual blood drive at the racetrack began as a tribute in 2002 in honor of the victims and heroes of 9-11.

Michigan Kart Club
The Michigan Kart Club hosted a go kart road race at Michigan International Speedway on Sept. 5-7, 2014. The MKC had more than 300 entrants from as far away as Texas and Oklahoma.
Driving schools give fans the opportunity to drive actual stock cars around the two-mile Irish Hills oval at top speeds or just take a two-lap ride with a professional driver around the track.
Formula SAE is an educational competition that challenges university undergraduate and graduate engineering students to design, build and compete in scaled-down, Formula-style autocross race cars.
Michigan International Speedway has been chosen to be the state’s host venue for Tough Mudder in 2014, a hardcore, 12-mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. The Tough Mudder event will take place Saturday and Sunday, September 20-21, at Michigan International Speedway.
Track Laps at MIS return in 2015 where fans will have the chance to drive on the two-mile racetrack.
Make A Wish
The Wish-A-Mile 300 Bicycle Tour, or WAM as it is affectionately known by riders, is a three-day tour through Michigan and will be hosted at Michigan International Speedway this year.
Drive 4 UR Community
Now is your opportunity to test-drive a Ford vehicle and support MIS Cares in the process. MIS and Brooklyn Ford are teaming up to support the Drive 4 UR Community Program sponsored by Ford Motor Company. MIS will become a temporary satellite branch of Brooklyn Ford on Tuesday, September 16 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. For every driver who tests drive a vehicle, MIS Cares will receive $20 from Ford Motor Company. While each eligible family member may drive in the event, the donation is limited to one per household.
