Angie Everett Wins June "Pick The Winner At MIS" Contest

Angie Everett of Kent City, Michigan calls Dale Earnhardt Jr. her favorite driver in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Earnhardt might have some competition now, however, in the form of Kasey Kahne and Carl Edwards. By being the only entrant in the "Pick the Winner at MIS" contest presented by Arbor Mortgage to correctly pick Kahne, Edwards and Earnhardt Jr. as the top three finishers in the 3M Performance 400 presented by Post-it® Picture Paper at Michigan International Speedway on June 18, Everett was presented with a check on June 26 from Arbor Mortgage that can be used to pay a full year's mortgage. Everett's picks, based on recently acquired knowledge about Kahne and Edwards and her admiration for Earnhardt, will allow her to pay off some bills and finish remodeling the kitchen in her home, she says. Of all of the contest entrants, 168 picked Kahne to win, but only 13 picked Edwards as the runner-up to Kahne. Everett was the lone entrant to nail the trifecta. Everett watched the 3M Performance 400 at home with her husband, whom she admits is a more enthusiastic NASCAR fan than she is. While he may get more excited about pit stops and checkered flags, it appears Angie has the knack for making a winning pick. The next "Pick the Winner at MIS" contest starts on Monday, July 31. Those wishing to enter can visit to make their selections for the August 20 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series GFS Marketplace 400. Fans simply need to predict the top five finishers of the GFS Marketplace 400 to enter. Entrants need not be an Arbor Mortgage customer to win. The winner will receive a lump-sum check the week following the race. Tickets for all remaining 2006 events at MIS delivered by Domino's Pizza are still available, including the IRL IndyCar® Series Firestone Indy 400 on July 30 and the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series GFS Marketplace 400 weekend delivered by Domino's Pizza on August 18-20.
