NASCAR Sprint Cup Series veteran Kurt Busch will appear in two of Michigan International Speedway’s hospitality clubs prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series LifeLock 400 on Sunday, June 15.
Busch will participate in question and answer sessions with fans or companies that have purchased packages for either the Victory Lane Club or Premier Club. He will appear in Victory Lane Club at 10:15 a.m. and Premier Club at 10:30 a.m.
Busch, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite car, has had a successful career at MIS. Busch is the defending champion of last year’s 3M Performance 400 at MIS and has two career Cup victories at the two-mile oval. The other win came in 2003.
“We are extremely excited to have Kurt Busch appear in our fan hospitality clubs during the LifeLock 400 Father’s Day weekend,” MIS Director of Corporate Partnerships Josh Burgett said. “These packages allow our fans to be treated like VIPs and interact with some of the top drivers on the Sprint Cup circuit.”
Included in the Victory Lane Club hospitality package is breakfast, lunch, beverages, pre-race pit access, entertainment, closed-circuit television, an official souvenir program, commemorative event gift and the question and answer session with Busch.
With the purchase of a Premier Club hospitality package companies will receive a reserved table for 10, which allows the company to host employees, customers or potential clients. Included is premier catered food for breakfast and lunch, and six beverage tickets per guest. The Premier Club has a few extras which include: reserved Turn Four grandstand tickets, the company name displayed on a reserved table, and a complimentary scanner rental.
For NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series enthusiasts, series veterans Johnny Benson and Brendan Gaughan will speak in MIS’ Tailgate Club prior to the NCTS Cool City Customs 200 on Saturday, June 14. Included in the hospitality package is lunch, beverages, pre-race pit access, closed-circuit television, a commemorative event gift and question and answer sessions with Benson and Gaughan. Benson, a Grand Rapids, Mich. native, and Gaughan are both Craftsman Truck Series race winners at MIS (Benson in 2006, Gaughan in 2003). Both drivers will speak in the Tailgate Club at Noon on Saturday.
