Gift Certificates Available
A holiday shopping strategy is not complete without a plan for that hard-to-shop for race fan.
With that said, Michigan International Speedway is offering gift certificates just in time for the holidays.
With lower-priced ticket options set for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in 2009, now is a great opportunity to purchase gift certificates for family and friends in $25 increments. Gift certificates can be used for tickets, camping, pit passes or hospitality packages for the June or August race weekends in 2009.
“Gift certificates are a great idea for people who are struggling to find that perfect gift for someone,” speedway President Roger Curtis said. “A $25 gift certificate makes a perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays.”
Gift certificates can be redeemed up until the Friday before race week. MIS accepts cash, checks and most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. They can be purchased by calling 517-592-6666, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
MIS has restructured some of its pricing for 2009 so fans who are feeling the economic pinch can keep MIS in their 2009 vacation plans. New in 2009 are general admission seats for NASCAR Sprint Cup races that start at just $40 in two grandstands. Children 12 and under may come to the races for free with their families in those seats.
Tickets and camping go on sale to the general public beginning on Sunday, Feb. 15 during the season-opening Daytona 500.
For additional information or to place a $50 deposit for 2009, call the MIS Ticket Hotline at 800-354-1010.
