Jane Orewiler wins week 4Share
Jane Orewiler of Swartz Creek, Mich. has been picked as the Week 4 winner of Michigan International Speedway President Roger’s Curtis’ fantasy pick ‘em contest.
Orewiler correctly selected Kurt Busch as the winner of the race at Atlanta and will receive an MIS visor.
Among the 477 fans that signed up for the contest last week, Orewiler was one of 23 that selected Kurt Busch as the winner. All 23 fans will be automatically entered for the grand prize drawing at the end of the season for two Victory Lane Club passes for the 2011 season, a $1,200 value.
Curtis picked Kevin Harvick, who finished ninth in the race.
“Congratulations to the 23 fans, including our weekly winner Jane Orewiler, for correctly picking Kurt Busch,” Curtis said. “I picked Kevin Harvick back-to-back weeks because he was so strong and nearly won last weekend. This weekend, he was never really in contention but finished a respectable ninth. Now, we get a week off before heading to Bristol.”
MIS is hosting its weekly NASCAR pick ‘em contest at MISpeedway.com/rogerpickem. Fans have the chance to make a weekly selection on who they think will win that weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Curtis also makes his selection on the website and discussed why he selected his driver on a weekly podcast.
All picks for the contest must be entered one hour prior to the start of each race. The contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada. Fans may also make their selection each week by mailing a 3 x 5 card with their pick and race name to Michigan International Speedway, 12626 U.S. 12, Brooklyn, MI 49230. All cards must be postmarked prior to the event date.
Affordable tickets, wider seats, larger infield campsites and earlier NASCAR Sprint Cup start times are just a few of the fan initiatives in place at MIS. Check out MISpeedway.com for details.
