MIS Live! returns April 14Share
The ever-popular MIS Live! is back to get race fans ready for summertime NASCAR events at Michigan International Speedway.
The web-based teleconference hosted by MIS President Roger Curtis and his staff members is about the fans — and for the fans! Curtis will discuss a variety of topics including track promotions, traffic, camping, tailgating, ticket pricing —you name it! He might even throw out a surprise or two throughout the teleconferences.
The chats are scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesdays starting April 14. Subsequent sessions are April 28; May 12; June 2 and June 9. Curtis said he’d add more if requested and necessary.
Curtis sees the web chats as a great opportunity for fans to interact with MIS, strengthening the speedway’s commitment to openness and transparency with guests.
“These web teleconferences are always a good way to interact with our fans and discuss topics that are important to them,” Curtis said. “We want to openly communicate what is happening here at the track and let fans know they can take advantage of great pricing that is currently on sale to the public. It’s also another fun and interactive way to engage our fans and listen to what they have to say.”
Guests can click www.ustream.tv/channel/MIS-Live for the MIS Live! channel on Ustream to participate.
Ustream is a free service. Anyone can log on and watch the teleconference, however, you need a free Ustream account and password to participate.
The streaming audio and chat sessions will also be fed through MIS’ Web site, www.MISpeedway.com, and on Twitter at www.twitter.com @MISpeedway. Twitter fans can use the hash tag #mislive to receive updates.
Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is a Great Escape, a venerable NASCAR national park where race fans and sports fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie. It’s the fun of NASCAR and the thrill of a great time for guests and drivers alike.
