Have a question about the renewal process or what placing a deposit will do for you? Michigan International Speedway President Roger Curtis and his staff are back for another season of MIS Live!, the nation’s original live racetrack teleconference.

MIS Live!, a groundbreaking web-based teleconference hosted by Curtis and his staff members, is about the fans — and for the fans. Curtis, always open to discuss a variety of topics, will focus on the ticket renewal process for the 2011 season and the track’s Race to Vegas contest, which gives fans the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Banquet.

Curtis sees the web chats as a great opportunity for fans to interact with MIS, strengthening the speedway’s commitment to openness and transparency with guests.

“These teleconferences are always a good way to interact with our fans and discuss topics that are important to them,” Curtis said. “We want to openly communicate what is happening here at the track and let fans know they can take advantage of great pricing that is available to fans who renew for 2011 or place a $30 deposit. It’s also another fun and interactive way to engage our fans and listen to what they have to say.”

Guests can click http://www.ustream.tv/channel/MIS-Live for the MIS Live! channel on Ustream to participate. The chats on Wednesday, Oct. 20 and November 10 will begin at 7 p.m. Eastern.

Ustream is a free service. Anyone can log on and watch the teleconference, however, you need a free Ustream account and password to participate.

The streaming audio and chat sessions will also be fed through MIS’ Web site, www.MISpeedway.com and on Twitter at www.twitter.com/MISpeedway. Twitter fans can use the hash tag MIS Live! to receive updates.

Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is the Great Escape, a venerable NASCAR national park where fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie. It’s the love of racing and the thrill of a great time for race fans and drivers alike.

The best, guaranteed lowest prices in 2011 will go to renewal customers and new customers who make a $30 goodwill deposit. Renewals are under way for 2010 ticket holders. New customers can log onto www.MISpeedway.com or call 800-354-1010 to leave a deposit. That deposit ensures race fans get the best pricing for 2011.
