MIS Cares continues to make a difference in the communityShare
The action does not stop at Michigan International Speedway after the Pure Michigan 400. Instead, MIS Cares takes the wheel and drives into the community to continue to make a difference with numerous agencies.
MIS focuses on charity through the program MIS Cares. In 2014, MIS and its sister company Americrown combined donated a total of $774,873 to local service groups and organizations through cash donations, work programs, grants and sponsorships, as well as tickets and merchandise that clubs raffle to raise money.
The Quicken Loans 400 and Pure Michigan 400 weekends allowed MIS Cares to drop the green flag to raising money for local organizations. MIS Cares sold 50/50 raffle tickets throughout both weekends. In June, it raised $68,710 over three days. Not to be outdone, the ticket sellers collected $119,060 in August.
The winner in June took home $34,355 while the August winner was able to claim $59,530. And thanks to the great supporters of the 50/50 raffle, MIS Cares presented a $10,000 check to The Daily Bread of Lenawee County prior to the Pure Michigan 400.
And there is still time for you to help MIS Cares.
