The entertainment will start early in race week at Michigan International Speedway in August. Guests will want to arrive early to take advantage of all the free entertainment the speedway has planned for race week.
MIS has added week-long entertainment to all the MISCAMPING.com campgrounds and to the race weekend with special programing and performances throughout the New Holland Fan Plaza.
“We strive to create layers of reason with all the entertainment for people to attend race week at Michigan International Speedway,” track President Rick Brenner said. “NASCAR’s fastest track is the place to be in August with free entertainment in the campgrounds and fan plaza, as well as the free concerts and the best racing in the world.”
Michigan International Speedway is making it easy to take part in all the entertainment in the MISCAMPING.com campgrounds and the New Holland Fan Plaza. MIS Taxi is a 24-hour service, making travel easy for both the early birds and all-nighters. Starting at the low-price of $5 (per person, per ride), fans can grab a ride to and from anywhere on Michigan International Speedway’s 1,400 acres of property.
MIS Taxi can transport up to six passengers at a time and will be available starting at noon on August 10 for fans arriving early and will continue throughout the remainder of the weekend. Whether you are going to another campground, the New Holland Fan Plaza or heading to the race, MIS Taxi will make it easy to get to your final destination on race weekend.
To catch a ride simply call or text 623-340-5876 or flag one down with the classic “HEY TAXI!” wave, as there will be many, unmistakable black and yellow checked golf carts around speedway property.
