Now you can be part of the Youth Fan Advisory BoardShare
Do you have a passion for Michigan International Speedway and NASCAR? If you do and are between the ages of 14 and 21, then MIS is looking for you.
Michigan International Speedway is seeking knowledgeable and passionate youth to share their insight and ideas to improve NASCAR’s most entertaining track as part of a Youth Fan Advisory Board.
“The Youth Fan Advisory Board plays a vital role in the success of Michigan International Speedway,” track President Rick Brenner said. “We are excited to welcome new members to the board and hear how passionate they are about MIS as well as their thoughts on enhancing the experience for young race fans.”
The Youth FAB will provide feedback directly to the MIS Staff through email and conference calls about their guest experience. In addition they will play a vital role in planning future race weekend events for the youth of NASCAR. The Youth FAB will also be involved in numerous activities on race weekend, providing a behind the scene look at the activities.
All youth ages 14-21 who attend races at MIS are encouraged to apply to be a Youth FAB member.
Youth can download the application and bylaws at www.mispeedway.com/yfab. The application must be returned to MIS by February 9, 2018.
MIS created the Youth FAB in 2014 to communicate directly with the countless young guests who make the track their vacation destination. The track is interested in what makes young people excited to come to NASCAR’s most entertaining track and what enhances their experience.
The track has prided itself in making the race a family affair and the New Holland Fan Plaza allows youth of all ages to learn about the sport of NASCAR, as well as enjoy activities in the Kids Zone and Welcome Center.
The Youth Fan Advisory Board is modeled after the successful Fan Advisory Board instituted by the track in 2008. The discussions with the FAB have provided many ideas and initiatives to improve the facility for all guests. We look forward to the same success with the youth FAB to welcome fans of all ages to NASCAR’s fastest track.
