MIS Cares is a 501 © (3) non-profit entity under the umbrella of the NASCAR Foundation. MIS Cares’ mission is to create a lasting, positive impact on our community through charitable giving and volunteer efforts that cultivate community growth and advances quality of life. NASCAR fans are given the chance to donate while at the same time engaging in a unique and exciting experience during race weekend.

2011 fundraisers included:
• Fish Your Bass Off Tournament
• MIS Cares Food & Toy Drive
• MIS Kids Zone in New Holland Fan Plaza
• NASCAR Day

MIS Cares reviews non-financial charity requests on a regular basis and over time, will expand its focus beyond charities MIS currently supports.

All financial donations are administered through MIS Cares.

Requests for 2011 grants are now closed. Recipients will be notified if they have received a grant from MIS Cares.

To submit a grant request for 2012, the grant application will be available for download on April 1, 2012 with submissions due by September 1, 2012.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING DONATION REQUESTS

All requests for 2012 must be submitted by May 1 for all events at MIS.

1. Each MIS Donation Request Form may be accompanied by a one-page attachment on official business letterhead. Requests submitted without the MIS Donation Request Form will not be accepted. >> Donation Request form (.pdf)
2. A 501-C3 form must be attached to your request.
3. Due to the overwhelming number of requests each year, all submissions will be reviewed, however, every request cannot be approved.
4. If your request is approved, MIS will contact you per your contact information with instructions for receiving your donation.
5. If your request was denied, you will be notified via email.
6. Expect processing time of between 3-4 weeks upon receiving your request.
7. Phone calls or e-mails regarding donation requests will not be accepted. The MIS Donation Request Form must be completed and returned with the optional one-page attachment for your request to be considered.
