The NASCAR Nationwide Series race at MIS, traditionally held in conjunction with the Sprint Cup Series event in August, will move to June. That move means the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event will be held in August.

Celebrate MIS' 40th Anniversary at Brooklyn-Irish Hills Race Festival June 12
In 2008, the local Brooklyn-Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce wants to celebrate 40 years of racing at the speedway by hosting the Brooklyn-Irish Hills Race Days Festival presented by Country Market, which will kickoff the start to the season on Thursday, June 12.
