The Future of Racing Scoreboards
The incredible $2.35 million scoreboard at MIS touches the sky at 110 feet tall and features the latest in LED lighting and graphics. Each of the three panels of the scoreboard are roughly two times the size of a highway billboard and will change the way race fans watch a race at MIS.

Decades: Bill Elliott Made History in the 80's
Similar to David Pearson's dominance in the 1970's, Bill Elliott had very similar success in the 1980’s at Michigan International Speedway. With all seven of his NASCAR Cup victories at MIS coming in the 80’s, Elliott was the most successful driver of that decade.

Further strengthening its commitment to preserving the environment and its natural resources, Michigan International Speedway will proudly host the Racing For Wildlife 200 ARCA RE/MAX Series event for the next three years, track officials announced today.

Another historical day occurred at Michigan International Speedway on Thursday, May 22 as the original infield scoreboard located next to the Infield Care Center was torn down. The scoreboard had been a staple on the MIS grounds for nearly 40 years.
