New look to 2011 schedule

The NASCAR Nationwide Series race at MIS, traditionally held in conjunction with the Sprint Cup Series event in August, will move to June. That move means the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event will be held in August.

MIS' Booth named state's Attraction Employee of the Year
MIS Director of Guest Services Tim Booth received the Attraction Employee of the Year Award by the state at the Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism in Detroit.

MIS takes the lead in responding to its fans
MIS President Roger Curtis took the opportunity to write an opinion piece for NASCAR.com on Feb. 12. Curtis wrote about what the Irish Hills track is doing for its fans and also discussed that the race fan is the number one priority for not only the speedway, but to the many NASCAR drivers who have worked with the track to support the sport over the years.
