Celebrate NASCAR Day with MIS (and a clean car!) May 20

Michigan International Speedway and its non-profit arm MIS Cares are offering a unique and fun way to celebrate NASCAR Day on Friday, May 20. MIS Cares has partnered with the NASCAR Foundation for the NASCAR Unites Car Wash for Kids at the Irish Hills racetrack from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For a $20 donation, each fan will receive a car wash in the MIS infield, a NASCAR Unites wristband and one lap around the historic two-mile MIS oval.

As one of the inaugural schools to adopt the NASCAR Kinetics program, Central Michigan University takes great pride in the group, bringing awareness of the sport to the school and community. CMU’s NASCAR Kinetics team will take that one step further by hosting an “M&M's Makes Race Day More Fun Watch Party” for the Martinsville Speedway Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday. The party starts at 1 p.m. at The Cabin in Mount Pleasant, Mich. and is free.
