Tailgating Lots
Tailgating is permitted in all MIS parking lots.
MIS asks that all tailgaters participate in the following:
1. Clean up all trash in your tailgate area prior to entering the race.
2. For safety reasons, when departing for the race, please do not leave items (pop-ups, etc.) in the driving lanes.

QUEEN OF TAILGATING
Oreo Cookie Cake by Nancy Wilson of Jackson, MI
Cake: 1 package Devils Food Cake Mix
Glaze: 4 squares Baker Semi-Sweet Chocolate, ¼ cup butter cut up
Filling: 1-8 oz cream cheese softened, ½ cup sugar, 2 cups cool whip thawed, 12 oreos coarsely chopped
Cake
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Prepare and bake cake per package directions in 2, 9” round pans. Cool completely.
Glaze
Melt chocolate in small bowl in microwave 1-2 minutes on high or until chocolate is melted. Blend in butter. Set aside to thicken slightly (5 minutes)
Filling
Beat cream cheese and sugar until well blended. Gently stir in cool whip and crushed oreos
Assembly
Place 1 layer on serving plate top side down. Spread top with cream cheese mixture. Place remaining layer on top side up. Spoon glaze to cover top only.
