• Rewarding our partners with valuable and lasting relationships.
• Leveraging our assets and competencies efficiently and effectively.
• Appreciating our team of employee contributions and values at all levels.

Policies Governing the Use of Non-Profit Group Services
We offer civic groups and non-profit organizations (tax exempt organization as defined in Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) on a contract basis, fundraising opportunities to benefit area communities.
Requirements of the Group
The group commits to work all race events. The number of group members needed for each role varies. Groups should be prepared to have extra members to work in the event of last minute cancellations. The group must supply the required number of personnel, as determined by Michigan International Speedway, to staff the assigned role. Flexibility will improve the chances of obtaining your group’s maximum involvement. All group members must understand that to provide the level of service our guests deserve, they will be required to present a positive image benefiting their organization and Michigan International Speedway.
Each group must appoint a group contact. This individual will be the sole contact for Michigan International Speedway and be responsible for scheduling, recruiting and all communications with Michigan International Speedway.
Dress Code
A dress code is enforced, which usually consist of khaki pants and a white shirt, unless otherwise specified by the Speedway.
Hours
Hours vary by role. Gates generally open at 8:00 a.m. and report times, regardless of role (with the exception of clean-up), would precede that by at least one hour. Release times also vary by role and are affected by weather and delays with on-track activities (i.e.: caution flags). For most roles release is sometime after on-track activities have concluded. It is unlikely that on-track activities would ever be completed by 5:00 p.m. Specific schedules will be developed when a role has been determined.
Compensation
Compensation varies and is affected by the particular role, the level of your group’s involvement and the length of the workday. Flexibility can increase income. Compensation specifics would be discussed after determining a role that matches the group’s availability and level of involvement. Checks are issued to groups after each event.
Training
The speedway will provide training prior to the season to review the facility and position expectations. Being prepared to succeed is an important part in exceeding guest’s expectations.
Camping
Camping on speedway property is available to all workers beginning on Thursday of race week. Early lights out and quiet time will be enforced.
