Official Rules for the 2011 “MIS Race to Vegas” Promotion
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE ODDS OF WINNING. The promotion begins at 6 a.m. (EST) on October 1, 2011 and ends at 11:59 pm (EST) on November 18, 2011. Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) age 21 or older with a valid driver’s license. Canadian residents must also have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence. Only one (1) entry per person permitted. Employees of Michigan International Speedway, Inc. (“MIS”) and its parent, subsidiaries, limited liability and affiliated companies, NASCAR, Inc., and its affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, members, successors and assigns, and members of their immediate family may not participate.
ENTRY: All ticket holders who have renewed, purchased race tickets or left a $10 deposit on race tickets from Michigan International Speedway (“MIS”) for a 2012 event at MIS as of November 18, 2011, at 11:59 pm (EDT), will be automatically entered and eligible for the drawing. You may also register by hand printing your name, address, zip code/postal code, daytime and evening phone numbers, and age on a 3" x 5" card and mailing the card to “MIS Race to Vegas” c/o 12626 Hwy 12, Brooklyn, MI 49230. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, or postage-due entries. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries not considered. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm (EST) on November 18, 2011.
WINNING: Potential winner will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about November 19, 2011, and will be notified by phone on or about November 19, 2011. Potential winners are subject to verification and eligibility confirmation. In addition, if any potential winner is a Canadian resident, he/she must answer unaided a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question as a condition to receiving a prize. Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winners by phone after the drawing. No substitution or transfer of prize. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of MIS or their representatives, which are final. Potential prize winner must meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules to qualify for the prizes
Prize winner must present personal identification bearing his/her photograph, name, age, and address, and sign a declaration of eligibility and liability release (and Canadian winners must answer the mathematical skill-testing question) in order to take delivery of any prize. Winner will have 48 hours from the initial phone notification of selection as the grand prize recipient to confirm notification and determine eligibility confirmation. If any potential winner fails to take delivery of his/her prize by the date and time specified by the Sponsor, then an alternate winner for that prize will be selected by random drawing from among remaining eligible entries. ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by November 18, 2011.
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Winner and guest will receive a 4-day/3-night trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, NV to attend the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony™ scheduled to be held on December 2, 2011, at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Prize package includes round-trip coach air transportation from closest major airport to winner’s location, airport transfer fees, hotel accommodations in a hotel at the sole discretion of Sponsor in Las Vegas (double occupancy) for November 30, 2011 through December 3, 2011 and two (2) tickets to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony™. (ARV: $2,200). Grand Prize Winner and guest must be available to travel between November 30, 2011 and December 3, 2011. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony™ is formal and/or semi-formal and Sponsor assumes no responsibility for rental of tuxedos and/or formal evening wear. Travel, accommodation, meals, insurance and other expenses not explicitly included in the description of the prizes are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest. If selected winner is not able to attend on the dates set out and at the times to be determined by the Sponsor, they will not be eligible for any prize.
CONDITIONS: Winner and winner’s guest must both be at least 21 years of age. Sponsor is not responsible if the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony™ postponed or is cancelled, in whole or in part, No compensation will be paid if advertised portion of prize is unavailable. If winner(s) and/or guest(s) are unable or unwilling to be present on the dates specified, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner via random drawing. All federal, state and local taxes, and all other expenses not specifically listed as part of prize are the responsibility of the winners. Other than as specified, winners and guests are responsible for all transportation associated with winning this prize. Prize is non-transferable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions. Any difference between estimated prize values and actual prize values will not be awarded to any prize winner. In order to claim prize, additional releases and/or waivers of liability required by Michigan International Speedway, Inc. and/or any applicable sanctioning body shall also be required as appropriate.
CLAIMING PRIZES: Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, winner agrees that Sponsor and its affiliates may use the winners’ name, address (city, state/province/territory), photograph, videotape, likeness, and/or prize information for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes and grants Sponsor and its related and affiliated companies reserve any and all rights to said use without further notice and/or compensation. In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, or if the potential winners cannot be contacted at the phone number on his/her entry prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
By entering this contest and/or using any prize, you agree: (1) to release Michigan International Speedway, Inc, its parent, subsidiaries, limited liability and affiliated companies, NASCAR, Inc., and its affiliates and each of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees, members, agents, successors, and assigns from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with participation in this contest or with acceptance and use of any prize; (2) if you are a United States resident, to receive email and mail solicitation from International Speedway Corporation and its affiliates; and (3) to be bound by these rules and any decisions of the sponsor or promoter relating to participation in the contest, selection of winners and awarding of prizes, whose decisions are final. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, biographical information, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Winners’ names will be posted on the track’s website mispeedway.com following the drawings, or may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to “MIS RACE TO VEGAS” c/o Michigan International Speedway, 12626 Hwy 12, Brooklyn, MI 49230, between November 18, 2011 and November 23, 2011. Canadian residents may omit return postage. Requests not received during that period will not be processed.
