Custom-Built Motorcycle Autographed by NASCAR Drivers to be Raffled for Racing for Wildlife

Racing for Wildlife, a partnership between the Ryan Newman Foundation and The Conservation Fund, is raffling a one-of-a-kind, custom-built Cool City Customs motorcycle signed by more than 30 of NASCAR’s most popular drivers—including Ryan Newman, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson—as well as NASCAR legend Bobby Allison and comedian and actor Bill Engvall.

The Cool City Customs motorcycle is a trike that features a Michigan International Speedway paint scheme and two rear Goodyear stockcar racing tires.  NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers signed the trike during driver introductions at the Lifelock 400 at MIS on June 15, 2008, which was won by Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

All proceeds from the ticket sales benefit Racing for Wildlife in its effort to build an American land legacy for generations of sports enthusiasts who share Ryan Newman’s love of the outdoors.

Tickets can be purchased online through eBay at http://stores.ebay.com/Racing-for-Wildlife.  Buy one ticket for $25 or five tickets for $100.  Only 10,000 tickets will be sold.  The drawing will take place on August 17 at Michigan International Speedway during the NASCAR race.

In 2007, The Ryan Newman Foundation teamed up with The Conservation Fund, with inaugural support from Michigan International Speedway (MIS), to launch “Racing for Wildlife” – an exciting effort to unite the sports community with passionate land and water conservationists across the country.

Racing for Wildlife pursues new conservation projects that offer recreational opportunities near urban areas, so families can easily enjoy the outdoors in protected places.  Racing for Wildlife’s first project is the restoration Mill Lake Youth Camp near Michigan International Speedway.  The second project is the protection of 1,100 acres of unique forestland habitat within the Talladega National Forest, just a short drive from the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
