LifeLock 400 Qualifying Cancelled

Rain forced the cancellation of qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series LifeLock 400 on Friday at Michigan International Speedway. Series points leader Kyle Busch will start alongside Jeff Burton on the front row for Sunday’s race at MIS.

11 drivers attempted qualifying runs before the rains came, thus forcing the cancellation of Cup qualifying for just the fourth time in track history. August of 2004 was the last time qualifying at MIS was cancelled.

The rest of the starting field for the LifeLock 400 will be determined by the current 2008 points standings.
