Christopher Bell drives No. 95 Toyota to 13th-place finish at Michigan International Speedway

Christopher Bell finished 13th in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday.

Bell’s result added 24 points to his season total. He is 21st in the NASCAR Cup Series with 379 total points.

Bell started in 29th position. The first-year driver has accumulated one top-five and five top-10 finishes in his career.

The Norman, Oklahoma native began the race two spots behind his career mark of 26.7, but finished seven places ahead of his career average of 20.4.

Bell’s 13th-place finish came against 39 other drivers. The race endured nine cautions and 43 caution laps. There were 12 lead changes.

Kevin Harvick earned the win in the race, and Brad Keselowski followed in second. Martin Truex Jr placed third, Ryan Blaney took fourth, and Kyle Busch closed out the top five.

In addition to earning the race victory, Harvick won Stages 1 and 2 to complete a dominant day in Brooklyn.
