NASCAR to return June 6-7 for summer battle in the Irish Hills
BROOKLYN, Mich, (Aug 20, 2025) – Race fans can catch their favorite NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series drivers at Michigan International Speedway the weekend of June 6-7 next year, the track announced today as NASCAR released its full schedule for 2026.
The fan-favorite CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will return in 2026 for a Saturday show, while the Cup Series will cap off the weekend on Sunday.
“A win at Michigan International Speedway means a little bit more to the teams and drivers because there’s so much manufacturer pride in our region,” said Michigan International Speedway President Joe Fowler. “Each year, fans pack our stands and campgrounds to enjoy fantastic racing and we once again look forward to welcoming them at the heart of the summer camping season.”
Below are the dates the 2025 NASCAR races at Michigan International Speedway:
- Saturday, June 6 – NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics
- Sunday, June 7 – NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400
This past June, Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin was able to outlast the field to take his third Cup Series win of the year. In the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, Stewart Friesen won a thrilling triple overtime race.
