FACILITY UPDATES

TRAFFIC PATTERNS PREPARE YOUR DRIVE TO MIS To enhance the fan experience, MIS updated traffic patterns to ensure smoother entry and exit before and after the event. These improvements included better coordination with state and local traffic authorities to reduce congestion and quicker access for everyone attending race weekend.

Inbound traffic map for Michigan International Speedway showing vehicle routes for race day Sunday from 8 AM to race start. Arrows direct traffic from US-12 and M-50 into various color-coded lots around the track. Lots 6 and 1 (yellow and red) receive traffic from northbound US-12. Green Lot, Lot 7, and Lot 8 (green) are reached from southbound US-12. Lot 3 and Lot 4 (blue) are accessed from M-50. Entry gates and campground names are labeled.
PARKING UPDATED PARKING LOTS AND ACCESS MIS improved parking by redesigning lot access and creating a color-coded map to guide fans to the most convenient entry points. Each lot has been color-coded with the matching ticket gate and seating section, making it easier for guests to find their designated area upon arrival.

TRAM MAPS GET AROUND THE PROPERTY WITH OUR TRAM SERVICE MIS updated tram routes are designed with the fan experience in mind. The new routes were strategically planned to provide easy and efficient transportation around the property, stopping at only select key locations such as main parking lots, primary entrance gates, and fan zones – not every stop along the way.

The yellow route curves from the southwest of the track to the northeast, passing through central parking and camping areas. Other colored tram routes are faintly visible in the background.
TICKET GATES EXPLORE THE NEW ENTRANCE GATES To further ease crowd flow, MIS added new ticket gates. By increasing the number of entrances, ticket gates should see reduced wait time and less congestion. This will enable fans to enter the venue more quickly and experience a greater portion of the pre-event atmosphere. Please be mindful of possible lines still, we encourage you to arrive as early as possible.
